Annex (Extension of a Family House)
Rijeka / 2023. / Petar Mišković
About project
A dialogue with oneself, 10 years later. A decade after moving in and following the birth of a sixth child, the family house needs an extension. Due to planning constraints, the extension cannot follow the principle of growing the existing structure. A freestanding annex with additional rooms, connected by a bridge, can be placed in front of the house to the south or on one of the sides. Variants include a small tower (1 floor plan module) or an elongated volume with a shed roof (2 floor plan modules).
