About project
The project reconstructs the old Urania cinema (1939) into a multifunctional public and office space. Despite its age, the building had favorable features for adaptation. Its structure—support columns, arches in the main hall, and ribbed concrete ceilings—was well- preserved. The reconstruction retained the original volumes, including the entrance, offices, and the main hall, adding a new glass entry structure. Urania is now a meeting place hosting various public events.

3LHD is an architectural office focused on integrating various disciplines: architecture, urban and landscape design, and art. Their work consistently explores new possibilities for interaction and integration among architecture, society, and individuals.
