About project
The Mini Art-Cinema is a separate hall designed for alternative film screenings and workshops as part of the Art-Cinema Croatia complex in Rijeka. The concept for this interior revolves around an expressive auditorium, serving as the primary organizational and design element of the space. The hall is accessed directly from a busy public pedestrian zone. The constraints of a confined space and the need for flexible usage scenarios are addressed through a system of purpose-designed, transformable furniture whose purpose is to actively engage visitors.
About authors
Organizirano oblikovanje is an interdisciplinary practice led by Damir Gamulin and Antun Sevšek. In addition to self-initiated research projects, the office focuses on graphic design, spatial signage, exhibition setups, public spaces, cultural infrastructure, and heritage revitalization.
