Black Hole and Wormholes: Speculative Contents of City University Spaces

About project
The project explores the potential repurposing of University of Rijeka spaces in the city center as parts of future public infrastructure, following it's relocation Trsat Campus. The starting point is the 'ideal' state of campus development and several capital projects. Contextual foundation is formed by resemantizing the near future, allowing for diversity of approaches to renovation, preservation, expansion of existing capacities.The work examines possibilities, strategies and programs aimed at transforming the connection between the city and the University.
About authors
Dorian Vujnović holds a Master's degree from the Faculty of Architecture in Ljubljana and has completed a specialist program in Urban Studies at the University of Rijeka. He occasionally writes and participates in competitions, exhibitions, and workshops. He lives and works in Ljubljana.
