The project explores various interpretations of authenticity: from the facsimile reconstruction of preserved parts of Vitić's complex, through phantasmagorical interpretations of unrealized segments of his original design, to the interpolation of new elements for contemporary use. The types of interventions are defined by pragmatic criteria that protect the integrity of various forms of authenticity, while their interplay creates a trans-historical cultural palimpsest.
