"Focused on the concept of spatial mechanisms' the exhibition relies on three elements: visual documentation of projects, a video work addressing the creation of staged space, and a spatial intervention that explores the boundaries of exhibition, stage, and urban space. By challenging the conventions of gallery showcase, this scenographic practice deconstructs the gallery as a 'white cube devoid of meaning, opening it to scenographic contemplation of space and communication with external urban space and real life."(MG)
About authors
Ana Martina Bakić and Ivana Knez (Diaprojektor) explore the medium of space through the interdisciplinary discourse of contemporary architecture and scenography, investigating its active role in contemporary society. They have completed numerous architectural projects, interiors, and stage designs.
