Gruž Market

About project

We gave the old one away to tourists, while still afraid to dream of a new one. Is this the moment in which we can once again imagine a city we want to live in? Could a new waterfront market be the beginning of a new city center?
While standing on the shoulders of past generations and wings of a grand history, we cannot remain small. Engaging in dialogue with the grand Renaissance villa on the finest part of the coastline demands respect, but even more, it requires character. There’s nothing more optimistic than the Mediterranean climate. Every space here is a playground of sun and wind.
