About project

The Torpedo Melting Pot project introduces a social purpose to Rijeka's highly industrial zone by transforming the former Torpedo Factory into a migrant community. Its goal is to provide vulnerable groups with quality living conditions, emphasizing reintegration into society and coexistence with the local population. The factory hall becomes an urban living room, accommodating many people and providing temporary housing for those in need. This 'city within a house' utilizes urban principles to overcome the scale of the hall, gathering all necessary facilities under one roof.
