About project

Unlike the functionalist approach, a bourgeois apartment is characterized by spatial neutrality and content ambivalence, allowing the space to easily transition from a residential role to an office without compromising its original spatial qualities. The scope of intervention unified two mirror-identical apartments. Architectural articulation affirms the sequence of serviced rooms on the street side while eliminating service rooms on the courtyard side. Thus, the unified space combines two architectural paradigms—enfilade and plan libre.
