Haludovo as a transformative space. A wondrous hotel from the past, where political ideologies have turned to ruins and oblivion. A deconstruction of a nation’s identity. Subjectivity is a force for emancipation and collective agency. The collapse of structure opens new possibilities. The absurdity of living a lie. Ruins become realities where political identity is replaced by the celebration of community. Here, architecture’s abnormal functions invite the body to explore, losing one’s orientation and unleashing the imagination to create new realities.
