Public Space near Zakmardy Palace

About project

The design concept is based on a central, triangle-defined thematic scene and a water zone framed by peripheral resting areas. The aim is to create a space with a new character as an addition to the environment, situated at the intersection of the historical core and the city park. The fragmented surfaces of the ground plane, accentuated by the use of black metal edges, break away from the orthogonal schematism of the surrounding architecture, opening up to the free planes of the park landscape. The designed void enables various scenarios for daily and seasonal use.
