About project
The Bridge over Foša is a steel shell structure with a variable cross-section in a slightly asymmetrical hyperbolic paraboloid shape. Informal seating areas and perforated sections with mesh for sitting transform the bridge into a multifunctional space, not just a passageway. Respecting Trogir's rich shipbuilding tradition, the bridge is constructed in parts at a local shipyard and transported to the site by barge for final assembly.
About authors
The architectural and urban planning office Prostorne Taktike was founded with a mission to promote spatial and social values of built environments through an interdisciplinary approach and close collaboration between professions, creating added value that goes beyond building and design processes.
