About project
In the informal settlements of Kozari Bok and Kozari Putevi, uncontrolled construction occupies plots of land. The architectural intervention focuses on redirecting construction vertically. Each plot receives a reinforced concrete element, such as a foundation, pillar, or
wall. Initially, their presence holds little significance and appears as sculptures in space. These elements enable the construction of vertical communication, stimulating upward expansion.
About authors
Fran Hodalj was born in 1999 in Karlovac and graduated in architecture in 2024 in Zagreb. Sanja Hokal was born in 1996 in Virovitica and is a graduate student in Zagreb.
