About project

RiHub is part of Rijeka's renovated city infrastructure within the European Capital of Culture 2020 framework. Located in a mezzanine space of a historicist building originally intended as a children's shelter, the design process involved stripping away worn layers from previous renovations to reveal the space's unique features, organized into seven spatial segments. While further articulated by their newly assigned functions, these segments are envisioned as open structures, allowing flexible use where events and user needs become main designers of the space.
