City Center of Varaždinske Toplice

About project

The project involves demolishing abandoned residential buildings from the 19th century, creating new roads, and establishing a city square with a square colonnade and a sunken water garden. The newly designed space connects, north to south, natural and cultural urban amenities such as a park forest, gardens, archaeological sites, a museum, a cinema, a traditional wooden house, and a sports- recreational zone. Functionally, the project accommodates a square, a market, and a bus stop equipped with urban furniture utilizing thermal mineral water for heating public spaces.
